2016

Once again, we had a great time Friday Nov.18 at Bowling For Collars. We want to thank the donors and sponsors as well as all of the participants that made it a load of fun. We also want to send a special shout out to fundraisers Tanya Lloyst and Jodie Mercer and to the Quinte Humane Society's Frank Rocket and the staff that attended. Thank you also to Bob and his staff at Quinte Bowl. You all made for an evening that was Great Fun, Great Cause.

2015

On Friday November 27 ninety-two bowlers took part in Bowling For Collars at Quinte Bowl. We gave out prizes, enjoyed rock n' bowl, heard from Frank Rocket from the Humane Society and had some Toppers pizza. It was a great way to finish off the year. Thank you so much to everyone that participated. Special thank you goes to Jodie Mercer and Tanya Lloyst who collectively brought in over $400 in donations for the Quinte Humane Society. We also wish to thank all of the prize donors and lane sponsors that helped to make this event a success.

2014

On December 5 we enjoyed Rock n' Bowl at Quinte Bowl. About 85 people enjoyed the bowling, Toppers Pizza, and supported the silent auction supporting the Quinte Humane Society.

The shelter is old and in need of repairs but it's home to 3000 + animals per year. It's warm and inviting when you don't have anywhere else to go. They are there 365 days a year - even on holidays , they must take care of those who cannot speak for themselves.

Come visit the cat rooms - someone will pick you to be their forever companion. The outdoor run area gives the big boys somewhere to run and play.

We want to thank Scott, Susan, Paul and Julie for helping out. We also need to thank lane sponsors; Heather Plane / Exit Realty, BNI and Rossmore Animal Hospital as well as all of the prize donors that made it all possible. Lastly, we want to thank all of the participants for your amazing support. We consider this evening to be a huge success and are already looking forward to the 2015 event.
